| The Archabbey Basilica celebrates the 100th anniversary of its completion in August of 2005. Restoration work, such as brick repointing and cleaning, new steps, and a new roof was completed in the 1990s. Interior improvements included repainting and the cleaning of the stained glass windows. Although major improvements have been completed, ongoing maintenance and restoration continues. Contributions to the Basilica Fund will help assure the upkeep of Architect William Schickel's grand design well into the future. |
