Kim Opatka-Metzgar is Director of Public Relations for Saint Vincent Archabbey and Seminary, Latrobe, as well as for the Saint Benedict Education Foundation for the international Benedictine university in Rome, Sant' Anselmo.
She has both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree from Seton Hill University, Greensburg, Pennsylvania, where she studied English, art and writing.
She has designed, edited, and produced numerous books for Archabbey Publications, including Renewed Each Morning, Reflections
from the Rocking Chair, by Father Philip Kanfush, which won a an honorable mention award from the Catholic Press Association in 2006 for best new author of a book, and The Saint Vincent Basilica: One Hundred Years, which won a second place award from the CPA in 2006 for Design and Production.
