Father Michael Gabler, O.S.B., is from St. Marys, and studied at Penn State University and Saint Vincent Seminary, as well as the Savannah College of Art and Design. He entered the Saint Vincent monastic community in 2002 and made solemn vows in 2006. Ordained to the priesthood in 2008, he has served at Saint Gregory the Great Parish, Virginia Beach; Saint Nicholas Parish, Nicktown and Sacred Heart Parish, St. Marys. His deacon internship was at Saint Benedict Parish, Carrolltown. One of his hobbies is sketching and he provided the sketches for the Saint Vincent Coloring Book.
