Brother Mark Floreanini, O.S.B., stained glass artist, has been making a limited quantity of stained glass crosses from the old clerestory windows of the Archabbey Basilica.
The windows were installed over 100 years ago. A new stained glass square, approximately eight inches in dimension, continues to provide the faithful with a token from the Basilica windows.
Colorfully crafted squares incorporate elements from the old windows, while continuing the tradition of incorporating a cross in the design. No two of these limited edition handcrafted colorful pieces are alike.
They are suitable for hanging, as some come mounted with a chain. Others are suitable for display on a mantle or windowsill or shelf.
